Giving Programs
Edventure More believes that ALL children and schools should have access to quality Summer Camp and School Year enrichment programs. Because 5% of our summer camp proceeds support our giving programs, 100% of your donations go towards direct service to kids and teachers in your community.

Edventure More is a year-round 501(c)(3) non-profit enrichment organization. When parents choose Edventure More camps, they not only make a difference in their child’s life, they make a difference in thousands of Bay Area kids’ lives.
5% of camp proceeds and 100% of your donations:
- Fund camp scholarships for underserved kids, with over $360,000 scholarships awarded since 2004
- Subsidize hands-on science presentations in local public and private schools, with almost 3,000 teachers and 70,000 students served since 2004.
- Keep our dedicated Development department applying for science, art and technology grants year-round in partnership with local school districts
- Reduce Summer Learning Loss, save hands-on learning in schools, and build 21st Century Life Skills in your child and your community
If you don’t see your school listed above, please contact our School Year Programs Manager at outreach@edventuremore.org to learn how we can support the enrichment efforts of your school, teachers, PTA or GATE programs.

Inspiring Curiosity, Kindness and Confidence
Lahni’s story
Your donation helps us light the spark of curiosity, confidence and kindness for disadvantaged kids. Take Lahni, a 1st grader from Oakland. Three weeks at Camp Edmo on a partial scholarship made her passionate about ant’s anatomy, the engineering of castles, and dissecting owl pellets. She would never have considered biology a career possibility before the wonder she experienced at Camp Edmo. In her grandma’s words, “Camp Edmo nurtures children’s inquisitiveness and creativity, and it’s all done with such wonderful enthusiasm!”
James’ story
For James, a 5th grader from the Canal District, after a week at Camp EdTech on full scholarship, he got so enthused about creating media that he “became more interested in school and put effort into studying” when fall rolled around. Instead of watching TV at home, he was making TV at camp.
A boy labeled a “lost cause” story
When visiting one of our In Class Programs, a donor was shocked to see a young boy, labeled a “lost cause” by his teachers, spontaneously shout out, “I LOVE science!” in the midst of his Ice Cream Baggie experiment. At Edventure More, we tap into the innate curiosity in the heart of every child.
Meet Olivia, Cash and Dante and their families and hear them tell their story!
Watch our Edventure More video and see what a difference you can make in your community!Camp Edmo is part of our family unit… I really wish that it was available for everyone.”
- Shiloh, Dante’s Dad
Bring more of these stories to life by joining one of our Giving Circles today!
